Bonnie Ruth Martin, 61, Brushy Valley Drive, Powell, died Monday, Feb. 5, 1996 in her home.

She was a member of South Clinton Baptist Church.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Nute and Emily Wilson Mayes; sisters, Birdie and Helen and brother, Shirley.

She is survived by her husband, Luster Martin of Powell; sons, Luster Martin jr. and Paul K. Martin, both of Powell; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Billy of Knoxville, Debbie and Dennis Dixon and Roberta Loveday, all of Powell, and Maggie Freeman of Knoxville; brothers, Floyd Mayes of Cleveland, OH, Ancil Mayes of Clinton, and Ulys Mayes; sister, Willa Dean Bolinger of Lancaster, OH; 16 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service is 1 pm Friday, Feb. 9, in Martin Chapel with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Interment will be in Clinch River Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 6-9 pm Thursday in Martin Funeral Home.
