Claude Martin, 67, of 126 Woodmont Circle, Clinton, died Wednesday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge after a short illness.
He was born Sept. 28, 1923 in Coalfield. His parents were the late Claude Sr. and Mable Bray Martin.
Mr. Martin was of the Baptist faith.
He held the rank of Master Sergeant in the Army and Air Force. Martin served during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam War.
His hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Adalene Martin; daughters, Sharon Reed of Clinton; Cheryl Burton of Ohio; two sons, Larry and Jerry Martin of Florida; a sister, Lou Etta Vernon of Alabama; six grandchildren and three nieces.
Friends may call at their convenience between 9 am and 5 pm at Martin Clinton Funeral Home. A graveside service with full military honors will be conducted by the Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard at 2 pm Friday at Sunset Cemetery.
