Claude H. Martin, 60, of Oliver Springs, died Thursday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
His parents were the late James Lee and Ruth Stealy Martin. A brother, Robert (Bob) Edward Martin, and two sisters, Julie Harris and Betty Mae Russell preceded him in death.
He was born in Briceville.
Mr. Martin was a member of Tuppertown Baptist Church and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 0760.
His hobbies included raising claves and rabbits. He was former president of the Tri-County Promenaders.
Mr. Martin retired in 1991 from the Tennessee Valley Authority, where he had worked as an electrician for 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Jean Martin of Oliver Springs; daughters and son-in-law, Frances Ruth and Earl McClure of Saluda, NC; Sandra Denise Madewell of Oliver Springs; three grandchildren, Christina Marie Madewell of Oliver Springs; Rose Marie and David Keith McClure of Saluda; sister, Barbara Ruth Martin of Oliver Springs; several nieces and nephews.
Services were Friday in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs with the Rev. Ralph Wilson and the Rev. Bryson Pride officiating. Graveside services were Saturday at the Seeber Cemetery in New River.
