Bonnie C. McAmis, 90, of Oak Ridge, mother of Jack McAmis of Clinton, died July 23 at Briarcliff Health Care Center in Oak Ridge.

She was an active member of the New York Avenue Church of Christ.

Mrs. McAmis was a native of Greene County, Tenn. She married Charles R. McAmis in May 1921 and moved to McMinn County in 1927, where they lived on a farm. Mr. McAmis died in 1964.

Survivors also include a daughter, Lucy Parker of Oak Ridge; sons, Charles McAmis of Dandridge; Daniel McAmis of Kissimmee, Fla., and William McAmis of Lovettsville, Va.; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were Sunday night at Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service was on Monday at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Riceville.
