Frances "Fran" McBryde, 75, of Clinton, died Monday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mrs. McBryde was retired from Clinton City Schools and was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pitt and Lena Eaton Rowland.

Survivors include her husband, William McBryde of Clinton; a daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Jeff Borthen of Roanoke, Va.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Anne McBryde and John and Shannon McBryde, all of Nashville, Bob and Cathy McBryde of Lenoir, NC, and Kelly and Lisa McBryde of Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Noah, Spencer, Garrett, Lucas, Chaz and Joshua; five sisters, Sarah Fugitt of Onskama, Mich., Nell Owen of St. Petersburg, Fla., Dale Rice of Payson, Az., Edith King of Maryville, and Ryta McMurray of Clinton; a brother, Elmo Rowland of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday in Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Rowland officiating. Burial was in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends 7 - 9 pm Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
