Melba M. McCallister, 85, of Clinton, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, at Lake City Health Care Center in Lake City.

She is preceded in death by: parents; husband, Raymond Earl McCallister; sons, Denver McCallister and Dwight McCallister.

Survivors: sons and daughters-in-law, Duane McCallister and Marion of Clinton, Douglas McCallister and Leola of Clinton; daughters, Helen Lawson of Clinton, Ruth and Jack Campbell of Norris; granddaughter, Patricia Chase of Clinton, brother, Lindell Neal and wife Gwen of North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law, Myrna and Gerald Parker, Joanne Dunlap, Joyce and Robert Harlen, all of Charleston, WV; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 11 am-2 pm Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, at Anderson County Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 2 pm Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Anderson County Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
