Arthur (Ott) McCoy, 61, of Caryville Rt. 1, Vasper community, died Wednesday at his home.

He was a native of Petros and a retired coal miner. Mr. McCoy was a member of the Straight Fork Baptist Church.

His parents were the late Robert and Laura Willoughby McCoy.

Survivors include three brothers, Harvey McCoy of Clear Branch Road, Lake City; Ellis (Fuzz) McCoy of Vasper and Charles McCoy of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Joan Jordon of Dayton, OH.

Services were Saturday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home of Lake City with the Rev. Warner Hawkins officiating. Burial was in the Petros Cemetery.
