Estelle Demarcus McCoy, 89, of Andersonville Rt. 2, died at her home on Monday.

She was a member of the Bryams Fork Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Andersonville.

Her parents were the late John and Caroline Smith DeMarcus. She was born in Union County.

A homemaker, Mrs. McCoy enjoyed reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William McCoy, and a daughter, Mae Youakim.

Survivors include grandson, Joe Youakim III of Knoxville and Billy Youakim of Denver, CO; a great-granddaughter, Sandra Shelton of Clinton; great-grandson, Joe Youakim IV of Andersonville; special niece, Dorothy Smith of Maynardville; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at Byrams Fork Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Gray and the Rev. James Capps officiating. Burial was in Norris Memorial Gardens. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
