Former Lake City resident William “Bill” McCulley Jr., 42, of Nashville died Sunday in Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Mr. McCulley was born Dec. 8, 1951, in LaFollette to William Burl and Jean McCulley. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Lake City and a manager of commercial rental property.

Survivors include his parents, of Caryville; a sister, Robin Esther McCulley of Nashville; maternal grandmother, Bertha Sneed Jones of Caryville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Wednesday in Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will be 11 am Thursday in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens.
