Thelma Ruth Goodman McCulley, age 90 of Lake City, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2001 at Lake City Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 20, 1910 in Anderson County.
She was a member of Longfield Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, singing and reading.
She is preceded in death by: Husband, Horace Boyd McCulley; brothers, Ottis Goodman and James Goodman; sister, Helen Goodman; parents, Luther and Bessie Elizabeth Goodman.
Survivors: Daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie and John Dugger of Briceville; Thelma and Benjie Quintana of Virginia; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Joyce McCulley of Clinton; sister, Claudia Gross of Lake City; sister-in-law, Thelma Goodman of Franklin; grandchildren, Kenton Dugger, Debbie Isabell, Janelle Viles, Lynn McCulley, Angel McCulley, Joseph McCulley, Karen and Michael Asbury and Julie Anderson; great-grandchildren, Heather McCulley, Joshua McCulley, Joseph McCulley, Brandon Isabell, Joshua Viles, Jereme Viles, Amy Dugger, Makayla, Isaih Anderson and Larry and Jennifer Riggins; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Visitation was 6:30-8 pm Sunday, Jan. 7, 2001 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service was 8 pm in the Cox-Martin chapel with the Rev. Harvey Sherlin officiating.
Interment was 11 am Monday, Jan. 8, 2001 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake City.
Cox-Martin Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
