O. C. (Mack) McDaniel, 85, of Lynn Street, South Clinton, died Monday afternoon at Anderson County Health Care Center.

He was a member of the Farmer’s Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. McDaniel was employed by the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge before retiring.

Survivors include his wife, Stella Christenberry McDaniel; sons, Bennie McDaniel of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jimmie McDaniel of Spring Lake, TX; daughters, Lollie Cannon of New Mexico; Ann Pickett of Lake City, FL; a stepson, Walter (Dub) Harness of Clinton; stepdaughter, Betty Kelly of Clinton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, James McDaniel of Clovis, NM, and many friends.

Services will be tonight (Wednesday) at 8 pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Seeber officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 am Thursday at East Fork Valley Cemetery in Oak Ridge.
