Horace Allen McDonald, 78, of Clinton, died Saturday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mr. McDonald was a self-employed electrical contractor and a member of Second Baptist Church, Clinton. A U.S. Army veteran, he served in World War I I.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara Eugene and Maude Henderson McDonald.

Survivors include is wife, Oda Mae McDonald of Clinton; daughters and sons-in-law, Helen Naomi and Charles Stokes of Clinton and Delta Joan and Richard Walters of Nashville; grandchildren, Trevor, Jason and Kelvin Stokes and Richard Walters; sister, Thelma Rhea of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Sunday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Gary Swaggerty, the Rev. George Williams and the Rev. Kenneth Ivey officiating. Graveside service was Monday in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens, Claxton.
