Willie A. McGhee, 79, of Lake City, died Saturday in Lake City Health Care Center.

The son of Fletcher and Eva Bray McGhee, he was born May 20, 1915, in Campbell County.Mr. McGhee was a member of Good News Baptist Church, Detroit, MI, and was retired from Wolvertine Tube, Detroit.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, James R. and Rosie McGhee of Clinton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lana Miller of Uniontown, OH, Sally and Leamon Harness of Caryville, Beulah and Edison Phillips of Lake City and Pauline Nappi of Miami, FL; stepsister, Sylvia Bea Madison of Dayton, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was Monday in Cox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Floyd Powell and the Rev. Mitch Walker officiating. Burial was Tuesday in Marlow Cemetery, Campbell County.
