Funeral services will be held tonight (Wednesday) at Martin Lake City Funeral Home for Cleo (Duke) McKamey, 66, who died Monday at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. The Rev. Robbie Cox and the Rev. Louie Lowe will officiate. Burial will be at 11 am Thursday at Leach Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. McKamey lived on Dutch Valley Road, Lake City Rt. 1. He was the owner and operator of McKamey Auto Service Center in Lake City for 25 years. A veteran of World War II, he belonged to the VFW Post 205.

His favorite pastime was fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Creola McKamey of Lake City; three sons, Claude McKamey of Atlanta, Steve McKamey of Lake City, Cleo McKamey, Jr. of Clinton; a daughter, Claudette McKamey of Knoxville; two brothers, James McKamey of Chattanooga and Carl McKamey of Lake City; four sisters, Kathleen Campbell, Mollie King and Lillian Kirk all of Gary, IN; and Violet Lindsey of Lake City; and six grandchildren.
