Doris McKamey




Doris A. McKamey, age 65, of Clinton, passed away Friday evening, Oct. 4, 2002, at the Lake City Health Care Center.

Doris was born Aug. 13, 1937 in Boma, TN.

She was a member of Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church. She was a retired supervisor with Martin Marietta where she had worked at the K-25 Plant in Oak Ridge.

Preceded in death by: husband, Albert C. McKamey; and her father, Thomas B. Anderson.

Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Meg and Albert Cardwell of Clinton, Gaye and Robert Goins of Clinton, Sheila McKamey and Rickey Lamb of Lake City; mother, Margaret Anderson of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jennifer and Kevin Prosise of Claxton, Bobby Goins of Clinton, Jessica Conaster and husband Curtis of Clinton, Ashley Saunders of Clinton; great-granddaughter, Carman Prosise of Claxton; great-grandson, Hunter Prosise of Claxton; sisters, Barbara Donalson of Panama City, FL; Linda K. Dun and husband Tom of Knoxville; brothers, Charles Anderson and wife Arnell of Boma, TN, Tommy Anderson and wife Doris of Slidell, LA; several nieces and nephews and a host of beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The family received friends 5-8 pm Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service was held 11 am Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Smith and the Rev. Joey Cagley officiating.

Interment followed the service in the Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
