Anna Mae McMahan, 75, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2002, at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
She was born March 18, 1927 in Anderson County.
She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church. She had worked 15 years at Magnet Mills where she ran a staying machine in the box department.
She had worked several years during the summer months for Hammers selling potting plants.
Preceded in death by husband, Charlie McMahan; parents, Richard Edward and Lula Matt Brooks Kesterson; sister, Bonnie Jean Kesterson; brothers, Clyde and Alvin Kesterson.
Survivors include: sons, Paul Homer McMahan of Harriman and Terry Wayne McMahan of Clinton; step-daughter, Dottie Duncan and husband Lynn of Clinton; three granddaughters and three grandsons; sister, Ruby Patterson of Clinton; brother, Ancil Kesterson and wife Della of Oak Ridge; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 7-9 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. The funeral service will be held 2 pm Thursday, in the chapel with the Rev. Sammy Epperson officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Poplar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Marlow.
