Carl Seifried McMurray Jr., age 76, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was a member of New Life Fellowship Church. He retired from Y-12 Martin Marietta as an electrical engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps serving in World War II.

Preceded in death by: parents, Dr. Carl S. McMurray Sr. and Mildred Andrews McMurray.

Survivors: wife, Ryta Rowland McMurray of Clinton; daughter, Victoria DeLee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Si McMurray and wife Ann of Clinton; grandchildren, Madeline and Kyle DeLee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Alicia McMurray of Clinton; brothers, Charles McMurray and wife Lee of Nashville; George McMurray and wife Joan of San Juan, Puerto Rico; several nieces and nephews.

The family received friends 6-8 pm Thursday, May 9, 2002 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service was 1 pm Friday, May 10, 2002 in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Interment followed at Grandview Memorial Garden.
