Ned Patrick McQueen, 75, of Medford community died Oct. 6 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.
Mr. McQueen was born May 2, 1917 in Anderson County. He was a member of the Fraterville Baptist Church.
A veteran, he served in the Army during World War II.
His parents were the late Johnny and Julia Ann Daugherty McQueen.
Survivors include his wife, Blanche Baird McQueen of Medford; three daughters, Shelly Daniel of Welldon, CA, Sue Braden of Lake City and Charlotte Withers of Lincolntown, NC; five sons, Lonnie Braden of Tampa, FL, Ray Braden, Billy Joe Braden, Hurstle Braden and Nickey Braden, all of Lake City; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Leona Webb of Gary, IN, Lola Beach of Briceville, Dorothy Owen of Clinton, Bessie Hatmaker of Lake City and Ocie Hatmaker of Clinton.
Funeral service will be at 2 pm Thursday in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home in Lake City with the Rev. Tom Byrge and the Rev. Mitch Walker officiating. Burial will be in Leach Cemetery.
