Clarissa M. Miller, age 92 of Lake City, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2001 at Methodist Medical Center.

She was born May 20, 1909 in Anderson County.

Clarissa was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by: Husband, Clarence (Bubb) Miller; daughter, Wanda Miller; parents, Gilbert (Gib) and Cordelia Foust Martin; brother, Paul Eulas Martin; sisters, Lelia Stephens and Mary Graham; half-brothers, Tom Martin and Claude Martin; half sisters, Novella Duncan and Anna Ruth Martin; daughter-in-law, Dee Miller.

Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Charles (Stumpy) Foust of Lake City; daughters, Dorothy Chester of Carlsbad, NM; Juanita Adamson of Lake City; son, Ken Miller of Lake Station, IN; grandchildren, Pat Osteen, Linda Dyer, Chuck Foust, Connie Smith, Kathy Waldrop, Dennis Chester, Curtis Chester, Gil Miller, Dan Miller, Kendee Rebeck, Wanda Sirmams, Tom Adamson, Laura Haggerty, Alan Adamson and Dale Adamson; 33 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was 6-8 pm Saturday, June 30, 2001 at Main Street Baptist Church.

Funeral service was 8 pm Saturday, June 28, 2001 at Main Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating.

Interment was 11 am Monday, July 2, 2001 at Ridge Lawn Cemetery in Gary, IN.
