Dora Miller, age 88, of Lake City passed away Monday, April 30, 2001, at Lake City Health Care Center.
She was born Sept. 12, 1912 in Anderson County.
She was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and raising flowers.
Dora was preceded in death by: Parents, William and Nora Campbell Hoskins; great-grandson, Neal Eugene Woodward.
Survivors: Loving husband of 55 years, Vaughn Miller of Lake City; daughter, Violet White of Lake City; grandson, Gary (Butch) White of Lake City; granddaughters, Deborah White of Sevierville; Sandra McFarland and husband Alan of Clinton; great-grandchildren, Christina White, Bridgette White, April White, Brian White, Mindy White; great-great-grandchildren, Courtney White, Tyler Stagnolia, Keegan Stagnolia, Chance Whitaker.
Visitation is 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at Cox-Martin Funeral Home. Funeral service is 8 pm in Cox-Martin chapel with the Rev. T.D. Hooker officiating.
Interment is 11 am Thursday, May 3, 2001 at Leach Cemetery in Lake City.
Cox -Martin Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
