Sarah Elizabeth Nance of Clinton died Saturday, March 9, 1996, in Methodist Medical Center.

Mrs. Nance was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Barbara Disney.

Survivors are her husband, Woodrow Nance; daughters, Sara Runion and husband, Dykie Runion, of North Carolina and Mary Humphrey and husband, Glen Humphrey, of Clinton; sons, Woodrow Nance Jr. and wife Wanda Nance, of New Tazewell and Michael Nance and wife, Linda Nance, of Las Vegas, Nev., 13 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Chandler of Virginia; and brother, Frank Souvers, of Virginia.

Funeral Services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday March 11, in Holley Gamble Funeral Home chapel, Clinton. Interment followed in Sartan Cemetery. Family received friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday, March 10, in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home.
