Bill Nash




William Randall “Bill” Nash, 77 of Clinton died Sunday at park West Hospital in Knoxville.

The son of Burton D. and Millie Briggs Nash, he was born May 4, 1916 in Fabius, NY.

Mr. Nash was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church.

Before retiring, he was an Electrical Engineer for the Asea Brown Boveri Company in Switzerland. Mr. Nash was a member of Clinton Lions Club and a member of the Clinton Masonic Lodge Alpha Chapter 376 F&AM. A U.S. Navy veteran, he served during World War II. Mr. Nash enjoyed playing golf and raising cattle.

Survivors include a daughter, Janis Nash of Knoxville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael B. and Janice Nash of Charlotte, NC; nieces Virginia Brown of Cincinnatus, NY; and DeLores Derrick of Chester, SC; grandchildren and spouses, Vickie and Eric Phifer and Steven and Holly Nash; great-grandchildren, Erika, Tiffany and Eric and special friend, Chris Griffis of Oliver Springs.

Graveside service was Wednesday in Oak Ridge Memorial Park with Rev. Bill Rowland officiating. Holley Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton was in charge of arrangements.
