Emilio Natino, 68 of Lake City Rt. 2, died Jan 15 at Methodist Medical Center. He had a stroke in 1980 and had been in failing health since that time. Mr. Natino was born in Agno, Pangasinan, The Philippines. He lived there until he was 23 years of age and then joined the U.S. Navy. He was a career navy man and remained in the Navy Reserves until his death. He had served during World War II and the Korean War.
He had lived in Lake City for the past 11 years. At one time he worked as a carpenter after leaving active duty.
Mr. Natino enjoyed working with ceramics as a hobby.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Jackie Clowers Natino of Lake City; stepchildren, Carroll Ansag of FL; Wayne A. Matayabas of SC; Isabella R. Gavino of CA; Ollie Duncan and Hugh L.Clowers, both of Lake City; Mildred Mandley of Baltimore, MD; Jerrey Carpenter and Shelby Wilson, both of Cleveland, OH; and many step grandchildren
Services are being held Sunday (today) at 2 pm at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Lake City. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery.
