Raymond Lee Neely, 75, of Clinton, died Sunday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.
Born June 6, 1919, in Bradley County, he was the son of James and Betty Neely. Mr. Neely lived in the Clinton area for approximately 50 years. He was a veteran of WW II and employed with Melton Hill Golf Course approximately 30 years. Mr. Neely was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Tammy Neely of Clinton; a brother, Cecil Neely of Lenior City; a sister, Mary Flohr of Lenoir City, and a grandson, Dillon Kyle Neely of Clinton.
Funeral service was Tuesday in Anderson County Funeral Home chapel (formerly Martin Clinton Funeral Home) with the Rev. Clyde Gray and the Rev. Ray Hill officiating. Graveside service was 2 pm Wednesday in Tennessee Valley Memory Gardens, Claxton.
