Cleo Ridenour Nelson, 85, Lake City Rt. 2, died Wednesday night at Lake City Health Care Center. She was a native of Anderson County.

Her husband was the late Alvis Nelson who died in 1954. Mrs. Nelson was a member of Longfield Baptist church.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Margaret Nelson of Middletown, OH; Bedford and Cymantha Nelson of Independence, KY; son, Johnny Nelson of Lake City; three grandchildren, Deborah Dorris of Wetumpka, AL; David Nelson of Maineville, OH; Andrew Nelson of Independence, KY; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Shellie Dorris; and a brother, Charlie Ridenour of New Carlisle, OH.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Cox Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. John Hunley officiating. Burial was in Longfield Cemetery.
