James Matthew Nelson, 10, of Lake City died Friday, Feb. 23, 1996, in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

He attended Clinch River Baptist Church and was a student in Lake City Elementary School.

Master Nelson is survived by his parents: James Albert and Frankie Marlow Nelson of Lake City; grandparents, Rose and Roy Byrd, Frank Marlow and Tensie Nelson all of Lake City; brother, Travis Marlow of Lake City; sisters, Jenifer Nelson of Caryville, Judy Nelson and Anna Nelson, both of Lake City; three nieces, three nephews, several aunts and uncles and a host of friends.

Funeral service is 2 pm today (Sunday) in Clinch River Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Ward and the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Interment will be in Clinch River Cemetery, Lake City.

The family received friends 6-8 pm Saturday, Feb. 24, in the chapel of Martin Funeral Home of Lake City.
