Minnie Viola Niccum, 86, of Clinton died Thursday in Ft. Sanders Park West Hospital, Knoxville.
The daughter of Robert and Dora Byrd Carver, she was a member of Clinton Second Baptist Church.
Mrs. Niccum was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Niccum, and a daughter, Jessie Sue Potts.
Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Maxine Woody of North Wilkesboro, NC, and Pauline and Cecil Crawford of Banner Elk, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, James D. and Carol Potts of West Columbia, TX and Gene G. and Laquata Potts of Clinton; seven granddaughters; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Beulah Potts of Atlanta, GA and Sarah Caldwell of Mt. Clemons, MI; brother, John Carver of North Wilkesboro, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Friday in Holley-Gamble Chapel with Rev. Louis Sinor officiating. Burial was Saturday in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
