David T. (Dave) Nichols, 39, of Heiskell, died suddenly April 4.

He was born March 17, 1955, in Knoxville.

A building contractor and security specialist, he enjoyed camping and fishing as hobbies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin David (Bud) Nichols and Mary Helen Gray Nichols.

Survivors include his wife, Tamara Parker Nichols; children, Christopher and Katherine; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa and Laurence Berney of Knoxville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, George and Shirley Parker of Andersonville; grandmothers, Alice Seward of Clinton and Minnie Parker of Briceville; nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives.Services were Thursday in Rose Chapel with Kelsey L. Jessee officiating. Burial was in Bishopville Cemetery. Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
