Isaiah Matthew Barton, 41, of Clinton, died Monday in Clinton.
The son of Nevie and Classie Barton, he was born Dec 19, 1953, in Clinton. He was an employee of Martin Marietta in the Y-12 plant and a member of Mount Sinai Baptist Church, Clinton.He was preceded in death by his father, Nevie Barton.
Survivors include his mother, Classie Barton, of Clinton; a sister, Betty McKinley of Clinton; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Nevie James Barton, Jr., Curley Barton and Lincoln and Marcia Barton, all of Clinton; aunts and their husbands, Inez and Wardell Johnson of Knoxville; Mary and Tim Jasper of Clinton; an uncle and his wife, James and Rose Jones of Detroit, Mich.; seven nieces and their husbands, Lana and Eddie Golden of Knoxville, Ramanda Barton and Neveha Barton of Cleveland, Ohio, Ivoree Barton, Yelonda McKinley, Michele Barton and Marci Barton, all of Clinton; a host of relatives and friends; three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday in Mount Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery. Body will lie in state one hour before service in the church.
Family will receive friends 7-8 pm Wednesday in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home

Nevie Barton, 72, of West Broad Street, Clinton, died at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge on Friday after a long illness.
A native of Rome, Ga., Mr Barton was born April 12, 1921. He moved to Clinton as a young man.
He and his wife, Classie, had been married for 52 years. Mr Barton was retired from the Y-12 plant of Union Carbide Corp. in Oak Ridge.
He was a deacon at Mount Sinai Baptist Church and a US Navy veteran.
He had enjoyed target shooting as a hobby. A relative said that he also liked to cut his friends and family's hair.
Survivors include his wife, Classie Barton of Clinton; four sons, Nevie Barton, Jr and his wife, Janet; Curley Barton; Lincoln Barton and his wife, Marcia, all of Clinton; and Matthew Barton and wife, Kitty of Oak Ridge; one daughter, Betty McKinley of Clinton; seven grandchildren, Lana and Eddie Golden of Knoxville; Ramonda Barton of Cleveland, Ohio; Ivoree Barton of Clinton; Nevetta Barton of Cleveland; Yelonda McKinley, Michelle Barton and Marci Barton, all of Clinton; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Waddell (Inez) Johnson of Knoxville and Mrs Tim (Mary) Jasper of Clinton; a brother-in-law, James Jones and wife, Rose of Detroit, Mich; a devoted friend, Eddie Golden, Sr of Clinton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2 pm Monday at Mount Sinai Baptist Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Sunday at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home
