Everette Wade Owens, 52, of Clinton died on Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everette A. Owens, and survivors include his mother, Ruth Owens of the Marlow community; four brothers, Gene Owens and Carl Owens of Clinton, the Rev. Bill Owens of Chattanooga and Bob Owens of Oak Ridge; and three sisters, Letha Bradham of Taylor, Mich., Marretta Bourk of Bellville, Mich., and Helen Martinez of Aiken, SC.

The funeral was held on Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Martin Oak Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Owens and the Rev. Bill Dawson officiating. The burial was held in Poplar Creek Cemetery.
