Lawrence "L.B." Parker, 86, of Clinton died Sunday, Feb. 11, in his daughter's residence in Raleigh, NC.
Mr. Parker was owner and operator of Parker's Jewelry and Furniture Company in Clinton for approximately 40 years.
He was a member of Clinton First Baptist Church, Clinton Lion's Club and Clinton Alpha Masonic Lodge No. 376 F & A.M. He was the son of the late Edward and Bertha McBrayer Parker.
Survivors are his wife, Nettie Webb Parker of Clinton; daughter, Betsy Saint Pierre and her husband, Ray Saint Pierre, of Raleigh, NC; granddaughter, Jolie Saint Pierre of Raleigh, NC; brother, Rufus Parker of Richmond, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
Masonic services were 2 pm Wednesday, Feb. 13, followed by a funeral service at Holley Gamble Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Sam Dean officiating. Family received friends 7-9 pm Tuesday in Holley Gamble Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Clinton Lions Club or Clinton First Baptist Church.
