Mary Helen Leinart Parks, 74, of Sterling Heights, Mich., formerly of Briceville, died Tuesday at Troy Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Mich.
She was born Aug. 21, 1918, in Briceville to the late William Thomas and Mable Haynes Leinart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Parks in 1970; daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Tackett Parks, sister, Willene Foust and five brothers, Cleo, Glenn, Luther, Gilmore and Roy Leinart.
Mrs. Parks had attended Briceville United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, William Thomas Parks of Smyrna; Robert Lewis and Gail Parks of Lake Orion, Mich.; daughters and sons-in-law, Mable and Gene Macudzinski of Rochester Hills, Mich.; Mona and Andy Lambiris of Sterling Heights; stepdaughter, Betty Karagenides of San Diego, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Inez and Bill Landrum of Clinton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Chris Leinart of Briceville; Paul and Margie Leinart of Lake City; and Troy and Louise Leinart of Garden City, Mich.
Services were held Friday at Dutch Valley United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Delozier officiating. Burial was at Sulpher Springs Cemetery. Cox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
