Hannah Parrott, 86, of Detroit, Mich., died Thursday, Feb. 1, 1996, in Holy Cross Hospital, Detroit, Mich.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Joan Young.

Survivors are her husband, Jay T. Parrott of Detroit, Mich.; two daughters, Phyllis Carr of Detroit, Mich., and Joann Garner of Clinton and her husband, Bob Garner; five sons, James Young and wife Jean, of Detroit, Mich., Gene and wife Mary Ann Young, also of Detroit, Mich., J.T. and wife Pam Young, of Fayetteville, NC., R.L. and wife Faye Young, of Clinton, and Frank and wife Herbal Young, of Detroit, Mich.; 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb 5, in Kaul Funeral Home, Roseville, Mich., with Pastor Randy Thompson of Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Sterling Heights, Mich., presiding.

Interment was at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich. Memorials can be made to charity of donor's choice.
