Edward E. Patterson




Edward Eugene Patterson, 63, of Broad Street, Clinton, died Monday at his home after a long illness.

Services will be at 7:30 pm Friday at Martin Clinton Funeral Home Chapel with Roy Vickery conducting the ceremony. Burial will be at 11 am Saturday at Black Oak Baptist Cemetery with full military honors by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6 to 7:30 pm Friday.

Mr. Patterson was born Aug. 10, 1930, to the late Samuel Hall Patterson and Sarah Vida Wilson.

Several years ago he had worked as a cook in Detroit, Mich.


He was a Protestant. Mr. Patterson served with the Army during the Korean War.
P>Survivors include a brother, Samuel Patterson; a sister, Mary Bell Patterson Harvey and husband, John W. Harvey; three nephews; a niece; and special friend Nola Matchett, all of Clinton.
