Funeral services were Feb. 2 in the chapel of Martin Clinton Funeral Home for Ella Pearl Patterson, 86, of Clinton, who died Feb. 1 at Anderson County Health Care Center. Burial was Monday at Black Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mack Smith officiated.

Mrs. Patterson had been a member of Black Oak Baptist Church near Clinton for 50 years. She enjoyed her Sunday school classes, gardening, flowers and crocheting.

Her husband, parker Patterson, and a daughter, Brenda McKamey, preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Otella P. Cliff and Janice Bernice Cooper, both of Knoxville, and Sue Mays of Powell; a son, the Rev. Ralph Patterson of Rockwood; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
