Shirley Jean Raby, 46, of Wilder Lane, Claxton, died Friday in Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.

Mrs. Raby was born Jan 11, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Charles Ollie and Nellie Belle Ball Presswood.

She earned an associates degree in small engine mechanics from Knoxville State Vocational School.

Mrs. Raby attended University Baptist Church in Knoxville.

She enjoyed crafts and ceramics as hobbies.

A sin-in-law said she was loved very much and would be missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include husband, James Earl Raby; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Gregg McMahon of Knoxville; Betty and Beau Culver of Boston, KY; Bonnie and Marshall Lewis of Marlow; grandchildren, Steven, Brandon, Sonya, Amber, Tiffany, Aaron, Rebecca, Chance, Matthew, Robert, Jeff, Charles, Sara, Christopher, Christine, Nickey and Kimberly; a brother, Kenneth Presswood of Louisville, KY; sisters, Barbara Snyder of Chicago, IL; Sandra Hill of Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews.

Services were Monday night in Holley-Gamble Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Raby and the Rev. George Wetzel officiating. Burial was Tuesday in New Gray Cemetery, Knoxville.
