Frank Ragsdale, 75, of Lake City, formerly of the Karns Community, died Saturday night at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Ragsdale was a member of the Ball Camp Baptist Church. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retired Union Carbide Y-12 Plant machinist.

His wife, Louise, preceded him in death 1980, and a daughter, Tammy Jane, died in 1979.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Dorothy and John Foust of Lake City; and Jo Ann Alfred of Knoxville; a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sharon Ragsdale of Powell; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday night at Cox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Buchanan officiating. Burial was Tuesday in Sherwood Cemetery.
