Dollie Viles, 78, who years ago
worked for Bush
Brothers in Clinton, died Sept. 28 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak
Ridge. She made her home at
626 Hill Court in Clinton.
Viles was a long-time resident of
Clinton. During World War I I she
worked for Bush as a packer of vegetables and meats.
She was the
daughter of the late
Leonades Lee and Mary A. King Viles and was born in Meigs County. She
attended a Baptist church.
Viles enjoyed collecting newspaper articles, family heirlooms and
mementos related to her
family.
Viles leaves five nieces, JoAnn Hill and husband, Jack, of
Lake City, Cora Lee Wilson
and husband, Clifford, and Edna Moore, all of Clinton, Mary Cate and
husband, Cecil, of Powell and
Lucille Devine of Ohio; and six nephews, Charles Seivers and wife Edna
Mae of Knoxville, Jess Moore
and wife Doris, Joe Moore Jr. and Avon Moore, all of Clinton, Ardle Viles
of North Carolina and Jerry
Viles of Memphis.
The funeral was Wednesday at Holley Gamble
Funeral Home chapel in
Clinton with the Rev. Donnie Martin officiating. Burial was in Pleasant
View
Cemetery.
