Franklin Lee Vowell, 15, of Lake City, died Thursday in Lake City.

Mr. Vowell was graduated from Lake City Middle School.

He was joined in death by his sister, Crystal Marie Hawkins, and brother Jason Hawkins.

Survivors include his father, Richard Vowell of Sevierville and mother Maggie Daughtery of Lake City; one brother, Richard Christian Vowell of Andersonville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was Friday in Martin Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mark Medley and Bishop Riggs officiating. Burial was Saturday in Mountain View Cemetery on Vowell Mountain.
