John L. Yarber, 64, of Cleveland, OH, died Saturday.
the son of James and Sara Yarber, Mr. Yarber was born in Hazard, KY. He was a mechanic and liked to work on cars. Mr. Yarber also collected knives.
Mr. Yarber lived in Lake City for about 10 years in the 1950s.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; three daughters and sons-in-law, Rose and William Young, Charmaine and Bob King and Joyce Sue and Samuel Camps; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Betty Thompson and Joe and Mary Harmon; grandchildren, Robert, Steven, Magen, Eddie, Michael, Bobby, Grace, Randall, Nora, Dora, Michael, Manley, and Joseph; great-grandchildren, Jason, Steven, Rachel, Stephanie and Christopher; siblings, Louise (Vernon), James (Katherine), Mary (Bill), Jessie, and May.
Funeral service was Wednesday in Martin Clinton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Tackett officiating. Burial was in Farmers Grove Cemetery, Clinton.
