[BORAGE]
BORAGE

Borage (Borago officialis, Boraginaceae)looks quite a bit like comfrey, having large hairy leaves growing up from a central base. The bloom is somewhat different. It is useful as a pot herb. If you like the flavor of cucumbers, you will like Borage steamed, raw in salads, or cooked like spinach. The stems are edible like celery and the blooms can be candied and used as decorations on desserts. Bees like the flowers, too.

[Mexican Oregano]
Mexican Oregano is a pleasure as it spices up the air around it when brushed against. It seems to be more pungent than the Sweet Margorum specie of Origanum. They are both Labiatae and used extensively as seasoning tomato sauce, pizza, scampie sauce, cheeses, and Italian seasoning would not be complete without it.
It is said to be beneficial to relieve gastritus, coughs, headaches and even a drop of its oil on a bad tooth to give relief.
