Cranberry Sauce

4 cups (1 pound) cranberries
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large oranges (preferably seedless)

Wash the cranberries, and pick out any bad ones.
Chop in the food processor.  Put into bowl.  Cut
up the oranges.  Chop in food processor.  Put into
bowl with cranberries.  Mix in the sugar.  Cover
and chill in refrigerator for several hours.

Opitional:  one cup chopped celery and 1/2 cup nuts
may be added.

Makes 4 cups of sauce.  Leftovers are great mixed
with vanilla ice cream...YUM!



 Cranberry Salad

1 pack cranberry Jello (or cherry), prepare as
directed on package.

Chop one bag of cranberries, one orange, one cup black walnuts,
and one cup sugar.  Mix together, add to Jello, and refrigerate
at least one hour before serving.  Mix in one cup or more of
whipped cream before serving.
