2 cups candied fruit                                                            1 cup brown sugar
2 cups raisins                                                                        1/4 teaspoons nutmeg
1 cup chopped dates                                                             1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 chopped walnuts                                                                 4 eggs, beaten
1 can pineapple, crushed                                                       2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup blackberry wine                                                           1 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup vegetable shortening                                               1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

I a large bowl, mix together candied fruit, raisins, dates, nuts, and pineapple.  Pour
wine over fruits and set aside.  Cream shortening, brown sugar, and spices together
until fluffy.  Mix in beaten eggs.  Add flour, baking powder, and baking soda, and
beat well.  Add fruit mixture, and mix well.

Pour batter into 2 large loaf pans or 6 minature pans.  Bake at 300 degrees for
1 1/2  to 2 hours.  Cool.  Wrap with foil and store for at least 1 week before cutting
for best flavor.  They are tasty and make really nice gifts.

Best when made with Mogen David Blackberry Wine!
