Thanks to you all for letters, phone calls, testimony, prayers, etc. We passed our first hurdle with 367. Now hope to get it scheduled for a Floor vote.
There is a question, due to the "indeterminant" fiscal note, we may have to go thru Finance but will let you know. When I find out, I will let you know to whom to send support.

House Bill 367: "Part-Time Public School Enrollment"
The House Health, Education, and Social Services Committee Tuesday moved out HB 367, sponsored by Representative Fred Dyson (R-Eagle River). HB 367 requires schools to enroll as part-time students those students who are being homeschooled, attending private schools, or who are correspondence students.

HB 367 also forbids school districts from discriminating against part-time students or from enrolling them only after full-time students are enrolled.
HB 367 now moves to the House Rules Committee.
