TUSCOLA COUNTY
Note: This cemetery was located on the property of Remos Disbrow (1822-1897), and was set aside by him in his will. The stones were copied by Arlynn G. Gantz on 26 May 1984, and he made the following notes: "This graveyard contains several unmarked graves and graves that are only marked with a regular fieldstone. In the fall of 1984 [I] returned to this family graveyard with Mrs. Harriet Torrey, a great granddaughter of Remos Disbrow. All remarks listed below are those of Mrs. Torrey. The cemetery has been mowed and is in fine condition."

remarks: there are eight "whitewashed" fieldstones with no inscriptions on them located in the front row, and on the south side of Remos Disbrow's large family stone. They are the stones of Jane Elizabeth (Disbrow) Wilber and seven of her children. She was the daughter of Remos & Esther (Virgil) Disbrow, b. 4 Apr. 1868, d. 16 Sep. 1901.
"Additional: Less than a half mile south of this Disbrow Family Cemetery and just across the highway sets the old farm and buildings of Henry W. and Harriet (Disbrow) Sherman. A couple of their children were buried in their yard, and there are tombstones at the site:"
