This is the line Iam searching on my mothers side: My grandfather George Rollin Savage b.12 Oct 1892 d. 28 Feb 1971 he married Susan Gertrude Rice (Savage) b.7 Apr 1911 d.05 Apr 2005. They were married in Hunington W.Va on 16 Apr 1932...George was born in Langsville,Ohio and died in Springfield,Ohio. Before meeting Susan he worked for a railroad and then for a trolley car co. in Marion Ohio.He was also in the Army in WWI.Around 1942 him and Susan moved to Champaign county Ohio after about a year they bought a farm on Storms Creek Rd in Clark county Ohio that they farmed untill George was unable to work in 1963...Susan grew up in Greenup Kentucky. There children were Wilda Jean Savage b.3Feb1935 Charels Ray Savage b.9 Jun 1939 Anna May Savage b.9 Sep 1945
`Susan Gertrude Rice b.7 Apr 1911 m.George Rollin Savage.She was born and grewup in Kehoe Ky in Greenup county.She received her teaching degree from Moorehead collage in Kentucky.
Susans father was James Hannah Rice b.08 Aug 1859 in Morgan county KY d.14 Apr 1956 In Clark county OH.he married Sarah E.King b.05 ct 1870 d.19 Apr 1963 They were married 06 Dec 1888 in Grayson,KY

James Watt Rices son John Maxwell Rice was killed when the ship he was on the U.S.S. Astoria was sunk during WWII.

William M.Rice b.1824 d.1902 in Morgan county Kentucky. He married Nancy Rogers b.? d.? they were married in Carter county KY.In 1852......William M.Rice Was a Corporal with the 40th Regiment-Volunter Mounted Infantry-company C during the Civil War.
Need to get more info on his war service.There are two different versions but this one is the only one that can beverified so far.

All I know on Polly is she was arrested for moonshineing and used profits from the sale of moonshine to get out of Jail.
