Well, what a surprise for Orange County Engine 40....One of those routine illegal burns for one engine ended up being
just a little more than they could handle. Time the calvery arrived for backup (2 in 2 out), it was cookin'. The house
was empty...except for the fire. |

House fire in Maitland. Well, as usual I was about 40 minutes late on the scene. I had to pick up my wife from school where
I sat in the parking lot and watched the column of smoke rise in the sky and listened to the scanner. But when I arrived at least they
had saved some flames for me. Winter Park Quantum on the left. |

E45 E64 TR66 R22 D4 was the Orange County printout on the first alarm. Later, E41 R41 and Winter Park Sixty-something (Hey this is
casual, I can't remember everything) I'm sure there were others. |

As you can see, most everybody was parked out front of the house while I was shooting pictures. Seems I remember the rehab
coming in too. |
