Memories continued: Top photo: My grandfather made this train from scratch. He lathed the wheels, formed the body and installed a snowmobile engine. It travelled around a track (approx. 60'x30') in his side yard. He gave rides to us and the neighbourhood kids. Everybody loved it. My grandfather was very handy and talented with his hands. When they first moved to Oshawa, he built the house they lived in. He built everything in that house possible, including the cupboards.
