So what is Douglas West Christian Camp Center like?

Well, it is shaped like the letter 'Y'. The games hall is on the 'leg' of the letter, and the sleeping accommodation is along the arms. The sleeping area consists of four large dormitories and two smaller dormitories. In all, DW can cater to about 65 people. There are toilets and showers, a large kitchen, dining room, and loads of sports equipment, all inside one building. Outside there is an adventure play ground, a sports field, and a Bar-B-Que. Usually it is children and youth camps that use the Center, but it has been known that 'bigger' kids use the place as well.

DW is a very inexpensive place to hire for weekends or week long camps, and we do our best to keep it accessible as possible to all who love the Lord.

What we really need (apart from wads of money!) is for Christian people to recognise that DW is here, and book the place to use for their camps and/or get involved in maintaining the property - Steve would be so grateful for any help he could get!
