SECOND BORN CHILD OF CONRAD AND CAROLINE (ROLFENK) LAMPMANN:

"Caroline" Sophie Elis. Lampmann was born on 26 January 1866 in Germany. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith on 18 February 1866, Evangelisch, Schluesselburg, Westfalen County, Germany. She immigrated to the US from Bremen/Southampton, arriving on 19 June 1885 Bremen/Southampton with her family on the passenger ship "Rhein".

Caroline never married. She lived most of her adult life in Aurora County, South Dakota. Later in life she moved to Minnesota.

Caroline died 16 May 1942 in Henning, Otter Tail County, Minnesota at the age of 76. She is buried in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Henning Township, Otter Tail County, Minnesota.
